Guido De Angelis (Senior Member, IEEE) received the “Laurea” degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy, in 1993 and 2011, respectively. He is received in 2021 the National Scientific qualification as associate professor in the Italian higher education system for the disciplinary field of Measurements (sector 09/E4, according to the national classification). He is currently with Regione Umbria (Regional Government of Umbria), Perugia, where he is Digital Ecosystem Specialist. He has authored or coauthored more than 40 articles, appearing in international journals or conference proceedings. His current research interests include sensor fusion, statistical signal processing, estimation theory, intelligent transportation system and renewable energy. Dr. De Angelis has been a reviewer for more than 300 articles in several technical journals. Honors and Awards: Best Paper Award—second place— I2MTC, May 23, 2016–May 26, 2016, Taipei, Taiwan. For three years (2017–2019) is “Outstanding Reviewers” assigned by the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society, the IEEE Transaction on Vehicular Technology Top Reviewer 2019, the Guest Editor of Special Issue “Indoor Localization”— Remote Sensing and the Guest Editor of Special Issue “Sensor Fusion and Statistical Signal Processing”—Signals
